Aromatica Organics Mesquite Spices, Grill Seasoning, and Rub - 4 oz jar

Organic Mesquite BBQ Grill Seasoning and Rub makes southern barbecue cuisine exceptional! Great for beef, casseroles, cheese dishes, eggs, fish, game, lamb, beans, meat substitutes, pork, poultry, soups, stew and even popcorn.

Sweet smoke flavor of mesquite woods, tomatoes, garlic and finished with a mild heat and perfect salt-sugar balance.

Brush melted butter or oil on meat and sprinkle seasoning generously on both sides. Skillet or Grill it over medium heat, cooking until desired temperature is reached.

The Organic Mesquite Grill Seasoning and Rub should be worked into the meat before cooking. Popular in Southern cuisines, rubs are used when the meat is seasoned without added liquid and maintains a constant texture. Spread olive oil evenly on all sides of the meat. Rub both sides of meat with seasoning generously, and finish by "pressing" seasoning to stick. The meat can be refrigerated for 15 minutes or more to increase intensity of flavor. Cook in skillet, oven, smoker or BBQ on the grill.

Ribs with Hot and Smoky BBQ Sauce Recipe

Recipe Ingredients:
2 oz Aromatica Organic Mesquite Grill Seasoning and Rub
6 oz Spicy Barbecue Sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
3 lbs of baby back ribs
Recipe Instructions:
Then, combine the olive oil and the Aromatica Organic Mesquite Grill Seasoning and Rub to make a smooth paste.
Rub mesquite paste over the ribs.
Refrigerate 2 hours, or up to overnight.
Cook the ribs in a covered gas grill or charcoal barbeque, using the indirect heat method, according to manufacturers' directions.
Cook approximately one hour, or until very tender.
Remove ribs from the grill, wrap in foil, and set aside. (Ribs can be made ahead to this point, stored in refrigerator)
Heat the grill as for direct cooking method.
Remove the ribs from the foil and grill, basting with the sauce until heated through and the sauce is well glazed.
Pass extra sauce when serving.

Cowgirl Brisket Recipe

Recipe Ingredients:
4 lbs lean brisket, flat cut
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 oz Aromatica Organic Mesquite Grill Seasoning and Rub
1 cup yellow onion
1 leek, cleaned and sliced thin
6 cloves of garlic, cleaned, sliced thin
8 oz potatoes, washed, peeled and cut into 1 inch chunks
8 oz carrots, washed, peeled and cut into 1 inch chunks
8 oz turnips, washed, peeled and cut into 1 inch chunks
8 oz parsnips, peeled and cut into 1 inch chunks
8 oz celery stalks, cleaned and sliced thin
1 lb chopped tomatoes (optional)
30 fl oz beef stock
Recipe Instructions:
Coat the brisket in the Aromatica Organic Mesquite Grill Seasoning and Rub, to taste. Rub it into all sides of brisket, place in a glass pan, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight to infuse the flavor.
Heat the oil in a large, heavy skillet over medium high heat.
Carefully brown the brisket on all sides.
Remove brisket and place in the slow cooker.
Saute the onion, leek and garlic until translucent and transfer into the slow cooker.
Place mixed root vegetables on top of beef.
Place of the cooking liquid into the saute pan to deglaze. Scrape all the bits of beef and onion into the liquid.
Transfer into the slow cooker.
Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.

This recipe is designed to be prepared in a crock pot, but it can also be prepared in a Dutch oven over low temperature.

Recipe Ingredients:
2 lbs split and divided rock shrimp, fresh or frozen
1 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 oz Aromatica Organics Organic Mesquite Grill Seasoning and Rub
Lemon Butter Sauce Ingredients:
1 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 tbsp lemon juice (one lemon)
Recipe Instructions:
Thaw shrimp if frozen.
Lay shrimp flat on a broiling pan with meat exposed.
Baste with butter.
Sprinkle with Aromatica Organics Organic Mesquite Grill Seasoning and Rub, making sure to coat all of the meat.
Broil as close to heat source as you can for 2 minutes or until meat is opaque.
Combine butter and lemon juice for lemon butter sauce and heat.
Serve immediately.
